The nine tobacco manufacturing enterprises listed are the Shanghai Tobacco Group, the Hongta Group, the Hunan Provincial China Tobacco Industry Corp, the Hongyun Group, the Zhejiang Provincial China Tobacco Industry Corp, the Hubei Provincial China Tobacco Industry Corp, the Henan Provincial China Tobacco Industry Corp, the Guizhou Provincial China Tobacco Industry Corp and the Honghe Group.
The Shanghai Tobacco Group, which, with its annual income of Yuan40.68678 billion, is ranked 114th, has overtaken the Hongta Group to become the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer.
